Easy-Fit Shape:

A new moulding process pre-forms the tire for easier installation and inflation. The gently rounded easy-fit shape remains clear of the rim channel, simplifying mounting of the second bead.

Construction: Handmade

Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires can't match. The handmade tires are assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople. High quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester. The result is a small-batch tire with a ride feel that is simply on a different level.

Everyday Luxury - The Challenge workhorse handmade tire is the PRO series, delivering performance and ride feel unmatched by traditional vulcanized tires. Perfect for the rigors of daily riding.

Casing: Super Polyester 220TPI

Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220-300tpi make up the Challenge most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger then nylon, is impervious to water and quite durable.

Compound: SMART

The Challenge standard rubber compound, SMART is the perfect balance of durability and performance. The handmade construction ensures that Challenge tread compounds are never hardened or heated by the vulcanization process.

Puncture Protection: PPS

The Puncture Protection System (PPS) is a tough, tightly-woven fabric placed between the tread and casing to increase puncture resistance.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
