Katadyn Steripen® Ultra™ UV Water Steriliser

The Steripen Ultra is lightweight and compact and belongs in every outdoor backpack. The uv water purifier charges via micro usb connectivity, and its UV lamp has a lifespan of approximately 8,000 uses. 0.5 L or 1.0 L of water is purified into drinking water in 48 or 90 seconds. Weighing just 140 g, it is also very lightweight and easy to stow in any bag. A display simplifies the process, indicating successful purification and the current battery level. The rechargeable battery self-discharges during prolonged periods of non-use but can be charged directly via a USB cable connected to a power source or powerbank. According to manufacturer information, the Ultra can perform approximately 50 sterilizations on a full charge.
