Lightweight construction

Made from Torayca carbon, it offers an optimal combination of stiffness, handling, and lightness. Compared to other models, both the stiffness of the bottom bracket and the steerer (HT) have been significantly improved, while the stiffness of the rear triangle has been maintained at a consistent level. The wide bottom bracket provides a perfect foundation, while the head tube design further enhances steering precision, especially at high speeds and under high torque.

Aerodynamic Efficiency

The Basso SV was developed with a clear focus on significantly reducing drag and increasing efficiency at high speeds. At the heart of the aerodynamic redesign was the consistent reduction of the frontal area, which was reduced by compared to the Diamante SV. This provides measurable benefits during fast sections and on long rides.

The positioning of the front wheel relative to the down tube minimizes air turbulence in the front area and is specifically tailored to tire widths of 28–35 mm. Thus, the Basso SV combines modern tire clearance with high aerodynamic efficiency.

The design is complemented by a consistent teardrop profile across all tube cross-sections, which guides the airflow cleanly along the frame and further reduces drag. The result is a road bike that impresses on the road with smooth riding, precise handling, and noticeable speed advantages.
