The RockShox ZEB Ultimate Charger 2.1 RC2 was developed for modern enduro and gravity bicycles and combines an extremely stiff 38 mm chassis with responsive suspension performance and extensive adjustment options. The combination of Charger 2.1 RC2 damping, DebonAir air spring, SKF gaskets, and Maxima Plush Fluid ensures a controlled, smooth ride with high traction, plenty of reserves on steep terrain, and precise handling even during hard impacts and at high speeds.

Technologies & Particularities

Charger 2.1 RC2 | The RC2 rear shock offers independent settings for high- and low-speed compression as well as rebound. This allows the fork to be precisely tuned to riding style, terrain, and rider weight. At the same time, internal friction has been reduced to further improve suspension response.

DebonAir | The redesigned air spring responds particularly sensitively to small bumps, while remaining higher in the travel, thereby providing more control and confidence on steep and technical sections.

SKF Low-Friction | The specially developed SKF scrapers reduce friction between the stanchions and the lowers, thereby permanently improving the suspension’s response.

Bottomless Tokens | These volume spacers are used to influence the suspension characteristic curve. Inserting the tokens reduces the air volume, which not only leads to a smoother response from the suspension fork but also results in higher end-stage progression.

Maxima Plush Fluid | The high-quality damping oil reduces friction in the system, improves smoothness, and minimizes annoying noises during long and demanding descents.
