After years of research and development, accompanied by extensive lab testing and thousands of kilometers on the road, this is the first Progress wheelset with carbon spokes.

The use of carbon spokes marks a turning point in the manufacture of lightweight wheels. The VONOA spoke used is only half as heavy as an ultralight steel spoke, yet withstands a 49% higher fatigue load. VONOA spokes feature an adhesive-free, mechanical connection, which guarantees outstanding durability and dimensional stability for years to come.

To achieve precise spoke placement with optimal centering and angle, the NITRO 2 hub was redesigned. The system features four high-performance double-pawl ratchets with 48 teeth, ensuring instant power transfer with minimal friction. The Coax ceramic bearings guarantee compatibility and efficiency.

The graphene rim has a profile with a height of 45 mm and an internal width of 23 mm, as well as a curved design that reduces air resistance even with 30-mm tires.
