Performance Series forks retain the same black anodized 7000 series aluminum upper tubes as Performance Elite, except paired with a GRIP2 damper. 

The award-winning Fox 36 series gets a huge performance boost with Fox's new FIT GRIP2 4-way adjustable damper. Equipped with the patent-pending Variable Valve Control (VVC) high- and low-speed rebound adjuster, improved compression damping and less friction overall, the latest Fox 36 offers a new level of performance and adjustability that matches the Fox X2 shocks. This award winning suspension fork series has been developed to match any aggressive enduro- and trail riders needs. 

Made specifically for the rigors of E-BIKES with a stouter chassis and longer durability. Now featuring an EVOL air spring and updated upper tubes for unparalleled small bump sensitivity, the 36 is even smoother than before. This model features the proven FLOAT air spring and a moto inspired GRIP damper that uses the FIT sealed cartridge technology combined with a coil-spring and independent floating piston. The tapered steerer and a Boost 15x110mm QR thru axle will additionally stiffen the chassis of the fork noticeably while still offering a quick and easy tool free way to remove and reinstall the wheel.

FIT GRIP2 - Next-Generation Sealed Cartridge FIT Damper

FIT GRIP2 is next-evolution sealed cartridge FIT system and the highest performing gravity-focused damper by Fox. The new damper shares its roots with the original GRIP architecture, but has been seriously enhanced with all-new technology: 4-way adjustability, VVC high-speed rebound circuit, high-performance mid-valve, and overall friction-reducing treatments.

4-way Adjustability
The revolutionary design of the GRIP2 damper provides independently adjustable high- and low-speed compression and high- and low-speed rebound.
In addition to offering incredible damper control, the adjustments also have a wider compression damping range to increase support without adding harshness.

Variable Valve Control (VVC)
GRIP2 now features high-speed rebound using Fox's novel and patent-pending approach: Variable Valve Control (VVC).
It is a revolutionary way to adjust the high-speed rebound circuit, effectively changing valve stiffness rather than adding preload. Unlike normal adjusters that add valve preload, VVC uses a leaf spring to alter valve flex in the high-speed rebound circuit. The adjuster provides the same effect as revalving high-speed rebound but without the need for damper disassembly.

Mid-Valve
A sophisticated mid-valve design allows more effective shaping of the compression damping curve, offering confidence-inspiring support that resists brake dive.
Tested and proven on the demanding World Cup Downhill circuit, GRIP2 has been relentlessly tuned to deliver just the right amount of support without harshness, giving it another level of refinement over previous generation dampers.

Friction Reduction
During the development of GRIP2, engineering uncovered improvements that greatly reduce friction.
Low friction seals help improve small bump compliance and honed, polished, and coated shaft and tube surfaces further eliminate friction for an unmatched ride experience. FLOAT
The FLOAT air spring system is light and reduces the force to initiate travel, providing excellent sensitivity and small bump compliance for all riders and pressure settings. It features positive and negative air springs that automatically equalize during use to give each rider the right pressure balance.

EVOL
A more linear spring curve gives EVOL forks and shocks plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support, and more tunable bottom-out progression, allowing riders to tap into the ideal pairing of front and rear-end feel. The EVOL technology from rear shocks is now integrated into all FOX forks. EVOL increases negative air spring volume, specifically positioned and sized for optimum small bump sensitivity.

AIR VOLUME SPACERS
The progressiveness of the FLOAT air spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.
