Powerfully Unique. The JPS Limited Edition of the eeBrake celebrates a shared passion for cycling and motorsports. The black-and-gold JPS design, which adorned Team Lotus’s Formula 1 race cars in the late 1970s and 1980s, quickly became one of the most popular liveries in the history of the sport. Legendary drivers like Mario Andretti and Ayrton Senna led these iconic cars to victories and, not least, to the 1978 World Championship title.

Limited Edition. Since 2017, Cane Creek has released two limited editions of eeBrakes annually, each in very limited quantities. The brakes have become a favorite among custom builders and enthusiasts who want to give their bikes character, unparalleled craftsmanship, and braking power.

eeBrake G4 – The Next Generation Of Performance

The fourth generation of the legendary eeBrake with 100 % CNC-machined parts. The wide design is optimized for rims with a width of 19 to 28 mm. In addition, the brake features a stiffer black spring, a redesigned one-piece cable adjuster with built-in resistance for easier handling, and a subtly understated laser etching that has proven its worth. All of this, of course, comes with the same exceptional braking power and lightness you’ve come to expect from the eeBrake. Optimized for Shimano, Campagnolo, and SRAM levers, as well as Shimano-standard brake pads.

Remarkably powerful. Exceptionally light. The eeBrake is the ultimate brake from start to finish—featuring a uniquely robust, patented design developed and refined through tireless engineering expertise both on the computer and in the field. With a weight that is half that of its competitors, the eeBrake consistently sets new standards against which all other high-performance road bike brakes are measured. The new gold standard for performance-oriented riders and drastically increased overall stiffness ensure better modulation and more power. No detail has been overlooked; the tire size has been increased, and tool-free brake pad centering makes installation much easier.

Perfect cable alignment. The brand-new titanium eeBrake cable adjuster rotates when the brake is applied, optimizing cable alignment during braking. Additionally, the cable housing extends all the way to the lower tip of the cable adjuster screw, preventing additional friction. This means you get consistent, friction-free braking performance when you pull the brake lever.

Aerodynamic. The brake cable is routed through the center of the brake. This routing creates a clean, uncluttered line and keeps the cable in the “slipstream” of the frame, offering an aerodynamic advantage over conventional brakes where the cables and lever arms are routed to one side of the brake body.

Simple precision. Tool-free adjustability ensures maximum precision and consistent pad movement thanks to the patented "Link" Pad Travel adjustment system. No annoying pad rubbing or constant need for re-centering. There is no need to readjust the main mounting screw after initial installation or to align the brake pads with spring-loaded adjustment screws.

Quick and easy. Thanks to the quick-release mechanism, the brake can be opened quickly and wide enough to easily install tires up to 28 mm wide and allows for easy wheel removal. The brake pads can be changed with ease thanks to Cane Creek’s patented system. This makes installing and removing the brake pads without tools a breeze.
