With its unique tread compound, Continental has revolutionized the cycling scene. Thanks to the legendary “ BlackChili Compound,” they were able to permanently resolve the age-old question of whether to prioritize grip or rolling resistance. The latest polymers, along with specially developed carbon black particles and fillers, guarantee unparalleled performance—whether on a road bike, gravel bike, or mountain bike, for time trials or downhill riding.

Vectran™ Breaker

Vectran is spun from the liquid-crystal polymer Vectran. This creates a thermoplastic, multifilament yarn. By comparison, this semi-crystalline fabric is more cut-resistant than aramid and has five times the tensile strength of steel. A Vectran breaker is lighter, more flexible, and provides more effective protection against cuts than comparable nylon breakers. Rolling resistance is not negatively affected.

Tubeless Ready

For initial installation, Continental recommends using at least 30 ml of Conti RevoSealant per tire. Then rotate the tires or wheels to distribute the Conti RevoSealant and inflate to maximum pressure. Check the pressure again before your first ride and top it off if necessary.
