The all-new design makes the Rocky Mountain Altitude faster than ever before. Increased stiffness and a lower center of gravity have boosted performance. Its finely tuned suspension curve and concentrated suspension mass allow the bicycle to handle bumps efficiently, keeping the rear wheel in contact with the ground even under load. The linear suspension curve provides support with minimal unwanted movement or harshness. Medium to large impacts are effectively absorbed without compromising speed or control.

Each frame size is equipped with particular shock settings. Rocky Mountain uses three different rear triangle designs to optimally adjust the rear triangle length to the respective frame size. Bicycles with a Small frame size can thus be perfectly optimized for lighter riders.

The LC2R™ (Low Centre Counter Rotating) suspension design was first introduced on the Slayer 2006 and was subsequently featured on later Slayer models. In 2008, the design was adapted for the popular Flatline downhill bicycle and later applied to the Flatline World Cup models. Now LC2R™ is back—more refined than ever. The LC2R™ design delivers ride characteristics that balance kinematic variables to deliver the legendary Rocky Mountain ride feel. The finely tuned combination of anti-squat and a responsive, supportive suspension curve ensures maximum traction, comfort, and performance.
