Range Extender: Weighing just under 1,500 grams, the Brenta 36+6-liter hiking backpack is light enough for ambitious day hikes, yet offers enough capacity for multi-day hut-to-hut hikes. Accordingly, the Ergoshape shoulder straps are slightly thicker and more padded than those on the smaller Brenta models. In addition, the hip belt features a zipper bag on both sides, and there are two attachment points for trekking poles or ice axes.

The storage capacity can be expanded by six liters using the height-adjustable lid. A clever detail: The buckle on the lid compression system can be removed and used elsewhere as a replacement for a broken snap buckle. Otherwise, the Brenta 36+6-liter hiking backpack also impresses with its exceptionally well-ventilated Aeroflex 3D mesh back panel, whose sturdy frame ensures a secure fit in any carrying situation.

The front access panel allows for quick access to gear stored at the bottom, and the side mesh pockets can be reached without having to take the backpack off, thanks to their dual openings. Many other features, such as the stretch pocket on the front, the valuables compartment in the lid, the integrated rain cover, and the chest strap with hydration tube attachment, round out the features of this hiking backpack. The outer fabric is water- and stain-repellent.
