SRAM GX Eagle Transmission Cassette

One of the main reasons the GX Eagle Transmission drivetrain delivers excellent shifting performance even under load is the perfectly matched T-Type cassette. The cassette and rear derailleur of the GX Eagle series are designed as integrated and interdependent drivetrain components that mesh directly with one another, ensuring perfect alignment on any bike.

The harder the rider pedals, the more the Full X-SYNC™ tooth design of the XS-1275 cassette demonstrates its potential, improving shifting performance accordingly. With the help of the large 52-tooth pinion, the 12-speed cassette not only achieves a massive gear ratio range of 520%, but is also significantly more durable and precise. This is due to a lower chain angle across the entire range.

While the so-called 8 pinions (gear 1 to 8) PinDome design is used, the one-piece Mini-Cluster construction improves durability in the range of the 4 smaller pinions (gears 9 to 12). The nickel coating not only ensures first-class corrosion and wear resistance, but also quieter shifting.

X-SYNC™ | The sophisticated tooth design with high, square corners ensures maximum performance and durability. Not only does the narrow, sharp tooth profile engage the chain earlier than teeth with the traditional triangular shape, but the rounded beveled edges also support the chain guide. To further withstand adverse conditions, X-SYNC™ chainrings feature mud-shedding cutouts that protect the chain links and rollers from dirt.
