While the chain guidance technology, specifically tailored for single-chainring drivetrains, keeps the chain securely in place, the X-Horizon™ rear derailleur shifts not only quietly but also quickly across the 12 gears of the Eagle cassette. In addition, the rear derailleur is equipped with the Roller Bearing Clutch™ for improved drivetrain stability and the Cage Lock™ mechanism for easier maintenance.

X-Horizon™ | The parallelogram design of X-Horizon™ rear derailleurs limits movement along the horizontal axis. This eliminates so-called "Ghost-Shifting" and reduces the effort required for shifting. The large offset of the upper derailleur pulley ensures a constant chainline in every gear, enabling faster and more precise shifting.

Roller Bearing Clutch™ | Maximum drivetrain stability even on the most demanding terrain. Roller Bearing Clutch™ technology puts an end to wobbly rear derailleurs and chain slap, without compromising precision.

Cage Lock™ | Thanks to Cage Lock™ rear derailleur technology, installing and removing the rear wheel as well as mounting the chain is faster and easier than ever. Simply slide the cage forward to release the chain tension and lock it in place.
