Nano CS Road 45 – Balanced Performance

The Nano Road wheel lineup from Tune includes various models, each tailored to a specific performance goal. The difference lies in the rim shape which varies in height and, in some cases, in cross-section, to ensure the best possible alignment with the respective intended use. Common to all versions are lightweight and stiff carbon rims with a hook profile, which is designed to offer both additional safety and the greatest possible tire compatibility. The CS models also use aerodynamically shaped carbon spokes to connect the corresponding Nano CS hubs to the rims.

The version with a profile height of 45 mm is the ideal all-around solution for fast roads, hilly terrain and brisk everyday riding. If you are looking for a wheelset that not only excels in racing and fast group rides but also handles most road conditions, the 45 mm model from the Nano CS Road series is the perfect choice. While a symmetrical rim on the front wheel maintains optimal aerodynamics, the asymmetrical rim on the rear wheel is designed to provide increased stiffness. The result is a well-balanced option that combines stability with performance.

The inner width of all rims in the Nano Road wheel series is 24 mm, suitable for tire widths ranging from 28 to 45 mm, though optimized for road tires between 28 and 30 mm wide. The Nano CS hubs were specifically developed for wheel systems with carbon spokes. A straight alignment of the spokes toward the rim is the prerequisite for precise and efficient wheel building. The rear hub of the Nano CS Road wheels is equipped with the proprietary POEtry freewheel which features 69 engagement points (“Points Of Engagement”). All wheelsets in the Nano CS Road series comply with the regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI) (Union Cycliste Internationale).

Enduro Bearings ABEC-5 | These precision bearings have proven themselves for over 25 years offering an outstanding price-to-performance ratio. The steel ball bearings are characterized by excellent durability, thanks not least to a special bearing grease and nylon seals which make the hubs virtually impervious to weather conditions.

Warranty | Tune offers a 10-year warranty on the rims, hub bodies, axles and end caps. A lifetime warranty is provided for XD-15 ceramic-hybrid ball bearings. Wear parts are not covered by the warranty.
