Product Description:

The versatile Vision Metron 45 SL Disc wheelset combines aerodynamics optimized with the help of extensive CFD analyses and wind tunnel tests with the powerful deceleration of disc brakes.

The streamlined full carbon rims with a 45 mm deep profile offer a great balance of performance and light weight. Meanwhile the hubs feature a Centerlock brake disc mount and the innovative P.R.A. system (Preload Reduction Assembly) which allows an easy adjustment of the bearing preload by fine-tuning its collar. 2 sealed cartridge bearings in the front and 4 in the rear, mounted on an axle with 17 mm diameter, guarantee smooth rolling characteristics.

To withstand the forces generated by disc brakes, the Tubeless Ready rims of these hand built wheels are connected to the hubs via bladed aero spokes in an 2:1 ratio, 21 in the front and 24 in the rear, and locked by self-locking ABS nipples. The Straightpull design of the spokes eliminates the weak point of bending in traditional spokes.
