Improved spokes and hubs give the Cosmic SL 45 a light and responsive feel during acceleration. The rim features a NACA rim profile that is 45 mm deep and 23 mm wide, specifically designed for all-around performance on flat or hilly terrain. Combined with the INFINITY hubs, power transfer is extremely efficient and the wheel set is even more responsive.

The wheels are developed, engineered, and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France. They are 100% handcrafted at Mavic’s European carbon manufacturing facility.

Details of the Mavic Cosmic SL 45

Improved Aerodynamics: Less drag, more power thanks to the 45mm rim profile and flat spokes, developed by aerodynamics experts and tested in a wind tunnel.

The shape of the rim bed makes it easier than ever to mount tires. Riding UST tubeless means no inner tube. The result is less friction and more air volume for a smoother and faster ride with super-low rolling resistance. Combined with the Infinity hub platform, which delivers a fast and responsive feel, they are stiffer and more efficient. The Cosmic SL 45 Disc was developed specifically for disc brakes and features an optimized number of spokes and lacing pattern.
