The Fizik Terra Aidon X1 was developed specifically for electric mountain bikes. It provides noticeably more comfort and control, especially on longer rides and challenging trails. The comfortable padding absorbs shocks and vibrations, making even rough terrain more pleasant to ride on. The flexible yet stable saddle shell supports a comfortable riding position. Thanks to the short nose, you have plenty of freedom of movement and can ride comfortably even in a sporty riding position. At the same time, it reduces pressure on the front of the seat. Wingflex technology makes the sides of the saddle particularly flexible. This allows the saddle wings to adapt to your leg movements as you pedal. This provides greater freedom of movement and reduces uncomfortable friction on your thighs.

Terra Aidon 's Saddle Preferences

A gradual transition from the nose to the side wings allows for smooth position changes while steering the bike. The wavy kick-tail supports the lower back to help the rider maintain their position during technical climbs and provides better control during the electric assist kick.

Once you’ve conquered the climbs and are riding downhill with the seatpost lowered, the saddle becomes a tool for control. The Terra Aidon’s rounded contours allow for smooth and quick leg movement around the saddle, helping you stay on track.

Since more time is spent in a seated position on an e-mtb than during traditional riding, the Terra Aidon features a special ergonomic cutout that relieves pressure on sensitive areas. A rubber layer on the underside of the cutout acts as a mud flap, keeping unwanted dirt and splashes off the trails.

To enhance comfort, the e-mtb saddle is additionally padded with the brand’s proprietary “ Type-2 ” foam, which is thicker in the ischial tuberosity area to support a more upright riding position, as well as on the sides for better maneuverability and comfort when pedaling at a high cadence.

Designed for electric-assisted all-mountain riding, the Terra Aidon features a resilient shell to provide a higher degree of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs vibrations for enhanced comfort. To better support the Terra Aidon’s flexible shell, the developers used the closed Mobius rail system to increase structural stability and responsiveness.
