Features of the Zipp Super-9 Disc Tubular Track

Maximum Power Transfer:

Thanks to a track-specific carbon laminate, the Super-9 offers extreme lateral stiffness. Every pedal stroke is converted directly into forward momentum without any measurable loss.

Optimized Aero Profile:

With a maximum outer width of 27.5 mm and a flat sidewall construction, the wheel generates minimal air resistance while ensuring optimal airflow even with tight frame clearances.

Classic tubular tire:

The traditional tubular tire bed ensures an extremely low rim weight while providing maximum safety under extreme centrifugal forces in the steep curves of the velodrome.

Precision Track Hub:

The integrated track hub (Type 188 / Track) runs on durable, extremely low-friction stainless steel industrial bearings and features a classic nut type axle with threaded nuts for maximum stability at the dropout.
