Description of DT Swiss R 460 db Road Rim - black

The all-rounder of road bike rims: light, wide and with an ideal price/performance ratio. The R 460 db works perfectly with wide tires, while its reliability guarantees miles of problem-free riding. Customized spoke pairing allows the construction of a comfortable wheelset for both long-distance and cyclocross riders. Furthermore it is tubeless ready.

A precise sleeve connects the profile. This guarantees optimum resistance against all occurring loads. Sleeve jointing is the best alternative to SBWT® welded rims.

Tubeless compatible rims can be converted for tubeless use with the help of a tubeless kit.

The rim is recommended up to 110 kg of system weight.

Customer Reviews
A decent sleeved rim, and because of this it's a bit difficult to true to perfection... but then again it's a DB rim, so it's not likely to rub against the brake pads. Be aware that it's a CENTER DRILLED and the angling of the holes - if there is any - can cause significant problems concerning the inside-out spokes in the ND side, spokes just keep on snapping inside the nippel- suggesting that the nippel is not able to turn enough to line up properly with the spoke. I've had to drill up, and countersink a quater of the holes to allow for nipple to turn sufficiently - so far this seems to do the trick.
