With the help of a redesigned internal shifting unit, the Shimano Ultegra ST-R8020 shift/brake lever, guarantees not only fast and intuitive, but also precise shifting. In conjunction with the front derailleur or rear derailleur of the R8000 series, switching operations are even smoother.

The ST-R8020 model takes the advantages of the version for rim brakes (ST-R8000) and combines it with the advantages of hydraulic disc brakes: a higher level of control, no matter what the conditions. For better adaptability of the dual control lever, the reach was also increased. Also, the small dimensions of the bracket benefit the ergonomics and feel great on the palms.
