The Maxxis Crossmark II rolls even faster than its predecessor and has more grip on the trails. The legendary center groove still flies on the road, and the modernized profile brakes better and offers better cornering grip in a wide range of trail conditions. An excellent choice if you want to be fast everywhere.
Dual rubber compound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tires.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a layer of rubber, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless fitting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions from the very first inflation and with little liquid.
EXO Protection
This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
