Center section is 90 mm wide to move the bending point to the optimal location and reducing stress concentrations. 4 separate butting steps ensure the riser bend, which is the weak point on any riser bar, is as strong as possible. Tapping after forming produces the roundest possible stem clamping area. The ends of the bar are thickened from 1.4 to 1.6 mm to resist damage from impacts and contact with the ground.
