The Aggressor is designed for high-speed modern mountain bike trails. Advanced knob shaping creates extra gripping edges, and reinforced side knobs offer enhanced stability when cornering at speed. An all-around trail tire excelling on everything from loose cross country race courses to heavy all-mountain riding.

Double Down (DD) Double Down tires are constructed like downhill tires: two casing plies reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. Due to two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) casing plies and aramid bead they are much lighter than downhill tires, much more stable and robust than TR + EXO tires and therefore ideal for hard Enduro courses.

Dual Compound
Two compounds used within the tread of select tires to offer lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tires provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tire without the weight penalty. Maxxis TR tires use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tires are the only Maxxis tires approved for use with liquid sealants.

Maxxis WT - Wide Trail Wide Trail (WT) - the casing is optimized for 35mm inner width rims.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
