The Dottore Hybrid Bib Tights is an essential and iconic product in the Q36.5 Equipment line. This tight is the proper “weapon” of choice for high intensity training in mid-season and early winter. The tight is part of the Wind Control category and made entirely of the proprietary Q36.5  technology UF-Hybrid Shell PLUS. This is a super high-density woven proprietary fabric now augmented with an extra warming effect thanks to the Heat Fiber, a smart fiber on the inside face, which is produced from the residue from coffee bean processing. The fiber attracts far-infrared rays from the environment and uses them to heat the body. The measurements show an increase of 1 degree Celsius in comparison to the previous Long Salopette.

The cut and construction of this new version is more spartan. The cut is the result of the evolution of the ergogenic pattern design, using a minimum of seams that are each strategically placed. And, adieu to the central seams in the crotch area, thanks to the anti-stress panel. A laser cut finish has also enabled us to get rid of many superfluous seams. The clever alignment of panels is designed to move with the direction of the pedal stroke, exploiting the vectorial elasticity of the fabric. This is a strategic design feature which can be felt by sensitive riders during the pedalling action. Tested at over 110rpm, the Dottore Hybrid Bib Tights is designed to allow maximum free movement while ensuring warmth despite its’ light weight.

Racing Check
The racing check is a new signature Q36.5 pattern that combines the unmatchable performance of the pioneering Q36.5 Dottore Hybrid fabric with highly sophisticated dyeing techniques. The check pattern of the fabric is, in fact, not printed but achieved through a double-dye recipe in which polyester and nylon fibers absorb colour in different proportions allowing the design to emerge from the weave. In this way Q36.5 achieve striking aesthetic results without in any way compromising the performance of our high density woven fabrics that are not printable via the classic methods used on traditional cycling fabrics.

Details of the Q36.5 Dottore Hybrid

UF-Hybrid Shell PLUS is a high-density woven material that has been given an additional warming effect thanks to a thermal fiber on the inside. This fiber is made from the residue of coffee bean processing. It attracts long-wave infrared rays from the environment and thus warms the body - and achieves an increase of 1°C compared to previous Long Salopettes.

The cut and construction of this new version are rather spartan. It is the result of further development of the ergonomic pattern design, using a minimum of strategically placed seams. Thanks to the anti-stress panel, the central seams in the crotch area are avoided.

Please note, these are not cycling shorts for cold temperatures. The material is of medium weight and ideal for temperatures of 5-15°C in spring and fall, as well as for particularly intensive tours in early winter.

Super Moulded seat pad

Following the intensive development period for the FUSION seat pad - found in the Salopette L1 Essential - which combines both sewn and thermo-molded components in one pad, the manufacturer is now using the findings of its own research to develop a new pad, exclusively with the help of thermo-molding.

This new Super Moulded (SM) pad corresponds to the dimensions of the Fusion pad and the foam has been adapted with different densities and thicknesses to meet the requirements in the perineal, sciatic and gluteal areas. The seat pad, similar to the rear part of the Fusion pad, uses a unique molding technology to make the transitions between the different thicknesses as smooth as possible and thus create a much more comfortable feeling on the rider's skin - many conventional pads have rather rough transitions between the various thicknesses.
