The Urban Taraxagum by Continental is the first serial bicycle tire made from dandelion rubber, for which Continental established the brand mark Taraxagum™. The project is part of Continental‘s research and development activities 
focused on alternative raw materials and regional supply chains. Shorter distances between cultivation areas and European tire production can help reduce logistical effort compared with longer conventional supply routes, where supported by route and sourcing data.
