Praxis Works Zayante Carbon S M30 Direct Mount Crankset - 160/104BCD X-Spider - LevaTime II - 48/32

The brand new Zayante Carbon "S" is the new economical version of the Zayante Carbon. praxis works has used the same great Zayante Carbon crank arms and equipped them with a simplified version of the brand new cold forged LevaTime II X-rings and steel bolts. These cranks are used with the M30 family of bottom brackets: BSA, BB86, 386EVO, BB30, PF30, T47, BBRight or older Specialized OSBB road bike frames.

Cold-forged praxis works chainrings

All praxis works chainrings are manufactured using a proprietary cold forging process that allows for more complex tooth profile shapes. This so-called "one-shot" process enables the company to increase the amount of shifting aids on the chainring, which is virtually impossible with normal CNC production.

The process with over 1,000 tons of pressure enables an extremely hard and tough surface for maximum durability. Individual tooth profiles, alternating tooth angles, synchronized lanes and tactically placed shifting ramps are the features that ensure smooth shifting. All this creates one of the most durable and smoothest chainrings ever produced for cyclists.

LevaTime II | Design. Build. Ride. Repeat. Praxis Works has once again fundamentally revised the proven LevaTime chainrings, which were the result of relentless testing and numerous optimizations, to enable even faster and smoother shifting. To increase the number and type of shifting functions, the LT2 X-Rings are 5 mm thicker and correspondingly stiffer. On this basis, new forged shift pins can also be used, which engage faster and improve shifting speed accordingly. The whole thing is held together by the forged and also reinforced LT2 X-Spider.

Zayante Carbon S compatibility:

The Zayante Carbon S can be installed with the corresponding praxis works bottom brackets on BSA, BB86, BB30, PF30 or Specialized OSB frames and is compatible with Shimano 10-/11-speed (also Di2), SRAM 10-speed and SRAM 22 11-speed as well as Campagnolo 10-/11-speed (also EPS) drivetrains. The manufacturer recommends the use of a Shimano, KMC or Campagnolo chain.

Note: The axle tapers from 30 mm to 28 mm. This requires the M30 praxis works bottom bracket.
