Minion DHR II - Wide Trail / TR / EXO Seitenwand / Dual Compound

With completely new tread pattern, Minion DHR II is the ideal rear tire for aggressive gravity riding. Characteristic are the side studs of the legendary DHF, which have been widened slightly for even better cornering grip. The centre studs are angled for better acceleration. Notches on the studs further improve the transition when turning into corners. Some of the centre studs have a paddle shape, which digs in during hard braking and helps to keep the bike under control.

With the Dual version two compounds were used comprised of a hard, longer lasting center and a softer gripping shoulder.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tires provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tire without the weight penalty. Maxxis TR tires use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tires are the only Maxxis tires approved for use with liquid sealants.

EXO Protection is an extremely cut and abrasion resistant material that protects the sidewall. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tire unchanged good.

 

Wide Trail construction optimizes tread layout and tire shape on today's modern wider rims. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work well on all rims with an inner diameter between 30 and 39 mm.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
