The winter jacket for all weather conditions is a versatile piece for the globetrotter - instead of being competition-oriented, it offers unlimited functionality. The idea of the jacket is based on the experiences and needs of the various winter sports activities in the Dolomites, such as skiing, ski touring and mountaineering. Reinterpreted for the bike, it is not the traditional softshell jacket usually used in winter, but rather a tool that combines the protection of a body-mapping jacket with excellent insulation properties in a single design - waterproof protection and thermal insulation are combined through a "sandwich" construction. The extraordinary result is a jacket with a futuristic weight of just 285 g (size M) for the depths of winter! This makes it 30% lighter than the Termica jacket, but it can be used in the same temperature range.
Technologies of the Q36.5 Adventure Winter Jacket for Men
- The outer shell features a body mapping construction that combines a Q36.5 proprietary three-layer waterproof fabric - UF 75 Shell (75 g/m2 and 15 denier) - with a durable water repellent treatment.
- The inner layer consists of a new version of UF-Air Insulation, the brushed jacquard knitted fabric is now made from a blend of micro-polyester, which increases thermal insulation. It forms a warm layer of air against the skin, allowing a high absorption/emission rate of moisture before it has time to turn into sweat through condensation.
- Sealed protection: The jacket has a hermetic collar, elastic wrist cuffs and an elastic waistband that protects against cold air by sealing in strategic places.
