ION SPD Bike Shoes Rascal Select BOA for MTB - Black

ION's top-of-the-line, race-oriented clipless cycling shoe

The Rascal Select offers far more than just uncompromising power transfer to the pedal. Its design combines stiffness along the longitudinal axis with flexibility across the transverse axis and in the upper. This torsional design principle helps prevent the foot from tilting on the pedal. Special traction and pedal zones on the outsole ensure reliable grip both on and off the pedals.

BOA® Fit-System

The BOA® Fitsystem on the upper instep ensures quick, effortless, and precise fit adjustment. Thanks to this system, a seamless connection between the gear and the rider is established, thereby enhancing speed and agility.

Inner Lining

While the inner lining feels as soft as velvet when putting on the shoes, it reveals its rough side should the heel slip out of the shoe. The one-way textured inner lining keeps the heel exactly where it belongs—inside the shoe.

Since the Rascal Select is designed for downhill riding, ION has positioned the cleat area further back compared to all-mountain-oriented boots.

EVA Midsole

The cushioning EVAmidsole absorbs shocks and vibrations, while the rubberized heel and reinforced toe cap absorb impact should your foot catch on rocks or roots. The asymmetrically shaped upper protects the foot on the crank side while still offering full freedom of movement.

The sturdy PU upper ensures durability and a long lifespan for this premium shoe. Breathable mesh inserts in the forefoot area maintain a comfortable microclimate inside the shoe.
