Wechsel Venture 3 Tent - Laurel Oak

The Venture 3 is a non-freestanding dome tent with a hybrid pole construction. The inner tent of the Venture 3 is pitched first. The unparalleled pole design increases structural stability for reliable use throughout the three seasons and increases space in both the internal living and vestibule areas. The inner tent is equipped with mosquito vents in the doors and at the foot and head ends for optimum ventilation. The generously proportioned doors make getting in and out of the tent particularly easy. Inner tent pockets keep things tidy and provide space for small items that might otherwise be lying around. At 3.14 kg, the Venture 3 is a lightweight in its size category.

Reinforced guy points (Power Triangle)

All fastening points on the flysheet are reinforced with Power Triangles. Especially with the strong, less flexible polyester fabric with additional PU coating, it is helpful if the stress points are reinforced. This means that the force is not applied at specific points, but is distributed over a larger area.

Guy lines with Guyline flag

The guylines are reflective. They can be adjusted using the linelock and the guyline flags ensure that the lines are clearly visible and always tidy.

APEX ventilation flaps

The APEX ventilation flaps are located at the apex of the incoming wind. Here, the wind creates an overpressure on the side facing it and at the same time a negative pressure on the other side. In addition, the APEX ventilation flaps are incorporated into the design seams. They do not need to be tensioned and lie flat when closed thanks to the Velcro tape. This prevents annoying flapping in the wind.

Color-coded poles

The pole end tips and the corresponding pole channel inlets are color-coded. The color coding enables quick and easy assembly.

Rectangular cut inner tents

The inner tents have a rectangular cut and do not taper at the foot end. A rectangular floor plan is particularly practical for thick sleeping mats so that the mats do not overlap at the foot end.

Double loops allow two different tensioning options.

Mosquito net and inner tent

The inner tent is made of a breathable and water-repellent fabric that prevents condensation from penetrating the inside of the tent and allows it to roll off the outside of the inner tent. The vents equipped with mosquito nets are located in the upper half of the inner tent. This ensures a good exchange of air without creating an unpleasant draught in the tent.

Connection between inner tent and outer tent

The connection between the inner and outer tent is practical and sustainable. The elastic can be knotted tighter or easily replaced if necessary
