Endura D2Z Encapsulator Race Suit Men - hi-viz pink
The D2Z Encapsulator time trial suit is the flagship of Endura's Aero collection. It represents the crème de la crème of aerodynamic cycling clothing. It is perfect for all those for whom speed is the ultimate. Thanks to Endura's special Drag2Zero (D2Z) cutting technology, the time trial suit has already proven itself at several UCI World Championships. In addition, the D2Z Encapsulator time trial suit has enabled Alex Dowsett and Bridie O'Donnell to break the UCI time trial world record and secure their place in cycling history.
Design philosophy
It took the development, testing and re-development of 80 such suits before we were finally satisfied enough to make it available to the wide market. The suit was developed for speeds above 45kph and that in time trial position. This makes it perfect for any time trial rider who wants to reach a new level. It was developed for a time trial speed of 46 to 58KPH. While the majority of the competition only measures at a certain speed, at Endura we understand that different speeds and disciplines bring different challenges in terms of aerodynamics efficiency. Here's an example: a suit that's perfect for a time trialist with an average speed of 50kph with an extreme aerodynamic riding style isn't necessarily suitable for a road cyclist with a top speed of 35kph. Because the Endura D2Z® collection was developed true to this motto, it was possible to create products that are not only precisely tailored to the desired target group, but are also suitable for a whole range of different speeds and therefore cycling disciplines.
SILICONE SURFACE TOPOGRAPHY - SST™
This exclusive, patented technology was developed together with Simon Smart from Drag2Zero™ and has been approved by leading UCI riders and triathletes. SST is the result of years of research and analysis of airflow in the wind tunnel and simultaneous product development to turn theoretical and researched results into reality. Through intelligently placed 3D applications, the airflow is optimized and directed around the body, thereby reducing air resistance at different speeds.
Encapsulator Pocket
Initially banned, then approved, the Encapsulator Pocket was a controversial and short-lived invention. The extremely fine, transparent mesh material ensures that race numbers are always clearly visible while maintaining the breathability of the pocket area around the race number. But Endura has not only found a solution to the problem of race number visibility; the Encapsulator suit also ensures that the fine fabrics are not damaged by the needles.
The (Aero) seat pad of the 1000 series
The Italian stretch pad of the 1000 series is made from a single block of foam. Unlike other pads, this avoids bulky areas. The moisture-wicking BioCeramic® stretch fabric includes a durable antibacterial finish, making it one of the most advanced pads on the market. The "Aero" version of the pad used in the D2Z® Encapsulator suit has been specifically designed to be suitable for more extreme riding positions.
Multi Fabric construction
Extensive experience with cycling apparel product development and the stay for ever "faster" fabrics have been combined in the D2Z® suit. The D2Z® Encapsulator suit™ uses 5 different fabrics to meet the demands of fit, comfort, durability and aerodynamics efficiency.
