The ultra-light upper shoe with lacing and one-piece Evofiber™ upper material offers an optimal fit and a high level of comfort. Equipped with professional blocks made of grippy and durable rubber, the super-stiff and lightweight EC90 carbon sole offers outstanding grip when pedaling and pleasant running characteristics when walking. If you want to prevent foot fatigue, you need to pay attention to good arch support, as this is the key to comfort, power transmission and efficiency when cycling. The Giro SuperNatural Fit System is the quickest way to adapt the cycling shoe to each individual foot. It combines a bike-specific footbed with ingeniously easy-to-adjust arch support. The SuperNatural Fit Kit also ensures the best heel hold and keeps the foot as close to the pedal as possible. For a great pedaling feel and very high performance.
Giro uses the know-how of carbon specialist Easton® in the development of the outsole. The result is a sole with maximum stiffness, without having to accept an increase in weight or a loss of comfort and fit, precisely in line with the requirements of professional riders. Each sole has been developed to provide ideal stiffness in the toe, arch and heel areas. The soles have the lowest possible height (6.5 mm in the pedal thread area, otherwise flatter). This extremely low sole profile allows a flat, seamless transition between shoe and sole without compromising the fit. The upper material can adapt optimally to the foot without restriction. The neutral platform supports the natural foot position when pedaling.
The patent-protected Precision Fit™ men's and women's lasts are handcrafted and specially developed for cycling shoes. The fit is precise, the foot sits firmly yet comfortably in the shoe without pinching. All aspects of fit, including a separate men's and women's last, half sizes and the interaction of upper, footbed and outsole have been taken into account.
Threads of pure silver are incorporated into X-Static® fibers. Siber is naturally antibacterial and prevents odors. X-Static® also regulates the climate in the shoes - keeping them naturally fresh and comfortable.
Vibram® is the world market leader in high-quality rubber soles. Giro uses two different sole materials developed by Vibram®: IdroGrip, which provides maximum grip on any surface, whether wet or dry, and MegaGrip, which is more robust and only slightly less slip-resistant. Vibram® soles guarantee maximum grip, comfort and durability.
