Quick-drying, lightweight and durable, the Solar Ultra 2 features heat-reflective TILT technology and offers excellent thermal performance despite its light weight. The narrow, tapered mummy shape reduces bulk and weight, which is ideal for quick adventures with as little gear as possible in cold conditions. The women's sleeping bag is slightly shorter, narrower at the shoulders and slightly wider at the hips than the standard sleeping bag - for more warmth.

Details

The three-layer recycled Stratus™ Eco insulation is arranged in an accordion shape - the Solar Ultra mimics the function of down in a lightweight, featherless construction. Rab's integrated TILT technology not only reduces the loss of radiant heat, but significantly improves insulation without compromising the size, breathability or weight of the sleeping bag. The quilted elastic inner material nestles closer to the wearer with the inner lining and insulation, thus avoiding cold bridges. By quilting in places, the insulating lining is connected with as few quilting seams as possible to reduce the risk of cold bridges.

It has a ¾-length main zipper with a wind protection chamber along its entire length to prevent body heat from escaping to the outside, and an adjustable, cozy thermal collar for zipping up with the same function. With its durable 20D Atmos™ recycled polyester shell, the Solar Ultra is the ultimate synthetic sleeping bag for the mountains or for biking and backpacking with as little gear as possible.
