Many outdoor and sports enthusiasts may be aware that wool is perfect for keeping warm in cold weather conditions - even when wet. Less well known, however, is its cooling effect on warm days. Due to the insulating effect of wool, additional heat is kept away from the outside & thus provides a cooling balance.
