When the merino wool becomes damp from perspiration, a heat-releasing reaction sets in. Thus, even when damp, the fabric keeps you pleasantly warm without looking clammy. The hydrophobic, water-repellent function of the polyester fibers in turn ensures that the fabric does not become saturated and dries correspondingly quickly.
