The Zeal Thermal is the best insulated wetsuit in the Orca range. It uses technologies for maximum heat retention such as the Thermal X2 lining and the "Batwing", a second layer of neoprene that prevents water from entering via the zipper and at the collar. In addition, particularly thick panels ensure high buoyancy without compromising flexibility. This is thanks to Yamamoto 40+, which ensures maximum stretch and thus allows full freedom of movement even in cold water.

• Outstanding thermal insulation: The Zeal Thermal is the warmest wetsuit in the Orca range, thanks to panels up to 5 mm thick, Thermal-X2 lining and its batwing hood. The suit closes particularly neatly at the neck and extremities, which together with the sealed zipper, including batwing, prevents cold water from penetrating and thus provides even better protection against the cold.

• Maximum elasticity: The use of various technologies for maximum stretch, such as Yamamoto 40X+, allows great freedom of movement in cold water despite the thickness of the wetsuit. In addition, the high elasticity of the Thermal-X2 linings ensures that the 5 mm thick neoprene panels have the same properties as thinner conventional parts.

• High neutral buoyancy: The thick panels on the hull provide high buoyancy and increase safety in open water. Due to the design, the buoyancy profile of the suit is balanced.

Cleaning the Openwater Zeal Thermal wetsuit for men

Too much salt is not good for your wetsuit. It can also be damaged by disinfectants such as chlorine if you use it in the pool. It is therefore recommended to rinse the wetsuit with plenty of (fresh) water after use. You can also use a small amount of pH-neutral soap and rinse it well afterwards.

To prevent moisture from remaining after cleaning, it is best to dry the wetsuit in a well-ventilated room or outdoors. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, as this can damage the material.

Storing the Openwater Zeal Therm wetsuit for men

By storing your wetsuit correctly, you prevent the material and seams from buckling and warping. This prevents creasing, which affects the durability and appearance of your wetsuit.

The best way to store a wetsuit is to hang it centrally over a bar or hanger so that sensitive areas, such as the shoulders and arms, are not exposed to tensile stress.

You should not use hangers for wetsuits with a very stretchy shoulder area (Apex Flex or Apex Flow), as this can reduce the elasticity in the long term. For all other models, you can use a wide hanger as long as it does not put too much tension on the shoulders and collar.

Please follow the manufacturer's instructions for use:

• If your wetsuit has a Velcro fastener, avoid it coming into contact with the inner lining as this can damage the delicate fabric. Cover the fastener with the strip of fabric provided or make sure it is closed so that the barbs on the Velcro surface do not damage the inside of your suit.

• With all suits, but especially those with exposed neoprene surfaces, it is important to be careful when putting on and taking off the suit so as not to damage the neoprene with your fingernails. Damage of this kind is not covered by our warranty.

• Triathlon and open water wetsuits are specially designed for swimming. We cannot guarantee that your wetsuit will function properly for other activities. Damage to the wetsuit caused by activities other than swimming is not covered by our warranty conditions.

• Avoid contact of your wetsuit with solid surfaces - especially rough ones - and do not lean on anything while wearing it.
