The mechanical Shadow RD+ rear derailleur stands for reliable and quiet shifting behavior in Gravel use. Matched to 1x12-speed drivetrains, the Shimano GRX RD-RX820 rear derailleur in combination with a cassette that features a gradation of 10-51 teeth (CS-M8100-12, sold separately) offers such a wide ratio range that you will never run out of gears even on the steepest forest highway or the fiercest Singletrail climb in the high mountains.

The highlight of the Top Normal rear derailleur is the integrated chain stabilizer, which not only guarantees safer chain management in rough terrain and on changing surfaces, but also ensures quieter shifting processes. The adjustable chain tensioner can be activated or deactivated by a switch as required. The derailleur cage is interchangeable and can be replaced with a medium model (not included) to reduce gear jumps and provide more ground clearance.

Shadow RD+ | Quiet drivetrain, less distraction. The Shadow RD+ system is lighter and more efficient than roller type chain devices. A rear derailleur stabilizer reduces chain slap and is a simple solution to prevent chain drop as well.
