Salewa Wildfire 2 GTX Approach Shoes Women - syrah/black 1575
The Wildfire 2 Gore-Tex® shoe is a snug-fitting, technical approach shoe for women with a grippy POMOCA outsole for climbing performance and fast approaches, as well as for technical and light alpine climbing.
The upper is made of recycled, breathable mesh with an elastic insert on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane that always provides you with reliable protection from the elments. A mesh of Kevlar wires that comfortably wraps your foot provides an improved, precise fit and flexibility and firm ankle and heel support.
In addition, the Wildfire 2 features the unique Switchfit adjustment, which allows you to easily switch from hiking to climbing mode, as well as the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) for a customizable footbed to suit your particular needs.
The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole features a climbing zone in the toe area, ensuring good elidation on small ledges. In addition, it is also equipped with S-Path technology for a natural roll. The POMOCA rubber provides good grip on rock in both dry and wet conditions, while the strong, pronounced tread lugs provide plenty of traction on mud and softer terrain.

POMOCA® S Path - corresponds to the foot pressure points on the ground and supports the natural rolling of the foot.

Switchfit adjustment - to quickly switch from hiking to climbing mode. By tying in the extra lace hole, the heel is pulled in and the foot is pushed forward towards the toes. This constricts the toes, just as is common for climbing shoes, to provide a secure grip on small footholds.
