Large volume, fast rolling, MaxxSpeed compound - the IKON brings exemplary performance in a wide range of ground conditions, on hard to loose soils, on rocks and roots, even when it is wet. This IKON with EXO Protection is especially suited for very rough, rocky terrain. The low extra weight reliably protects the sidewalls against tearing.

• MaxxSpeed - The fast compound convinces with optimally tuned properties for XC and selected All Mountain / Trail tires. MaxxSpeed now consists of only one rubber compound (single compound), while the previous 3C MaxxSpeed still three different compounds were combined.
• Tubeless Ready - Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes the tubeless mounting on all rims with standard dimensions already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid.
• EXO Protection - This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires unchanged convincingly good.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
