Fizik Terra Ergolace GTX FLAT MTB Shoes - anthrazit/black
Flatpedal mtb and gravel shoes, designed for versatile all-weather protection and support with a lace-up closure and a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane.
The Terra Ergolace GTX Flat is a rugged, functional lace-up shoe that provides grip and control on flat pedals and offers protection from the elements thanks to an advanced GORE-TEX membrane.
A storm-proof shoe for off-road adventures in bad weather
Much like a true all-around mountain bike, Ergolace shoes offer pure versatility in both function and design. Whether on an alpine tour, on the trail, or on an after-work ride—these shoes are built for adventure. With a redesigned sole developed specifically for flat pedals, Ergolace shoes offer the perfect setup for all classic or electric mountain bikers who want to venture off the beaten path. In addition, Ergolace shoes minimize foot roll and feature a widened sole that provides ample contact area for wide flat pedals—ensuring even power distribution.
GORE-TEX Protection in Wet Weather
In the GORE-TEX version, riders can indulge their thirst for adventure even further thanks to the three-layer, waterproof, and breathable membrane: it protects against the elements and keeps feet dry. For rough terrain, the rugged, woven ripstop uppers are abrasion- and tear-resistant, while a PU-laminated toe cap and side reinforcements provide additional protection and durability. For added comfort, the Ergolace design wraps around the foot and ensures a secure fit with an ergonomic lacing system.
Slim fit. Secure feel
Fizik has specifically designed the silhouette to look less bulky and avoid the puffy appearance of many mtb shoes—so the Ergolace blends seamlessly into everyday life even after your ride.
The X2 Flat Outsole: Versatility for the Trail
The X2 outsole enhances the versatility of these all-mountain shoes. It was developed to offer an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and flexibility for greater comfort and control both on and off the bike. The X2 outsole ensures excellent grip during all walking sections. The compressed EVA midsole provides stability and damping, while the Vibram rubber tread ensures grip and traction—no matter the terrain. The innovative lug pattern is designed for a secure footing; with optimal spacing and depth to dig into soft ground, and made from a special compound that’s ideal for slippery rocks while hiking. This flat-pedal version features a flat, tapered lug pattern in the midfoot area that allows for immediate contact and optimal mechanical engagement with the pedal pins.
