The PUKY YOUKE 18 inspires beginners from the age of 5 and advanced riders alike. Fully equipped with a luggage rack, a child-friendly V-brake and the PUKY safety set, the PUKY YOUKE 18 leaves nothing to be desired. A low frame entry and the low overhang height ensure optimal mounting and dismounting of the child. In addition, the handlebar widths and the gear ratio on the YOUKE have been optimised and retuned. Lightweight aluminium components such as the frame, handlebars and cranks ensure a perfect weight ratio. In seventy years of PUKY millions of parents and children have learned to ride on a PUKY bicycle. It is not for nothing that PUKY is synonymous with the children's bike par excellence.

Details of the Puky YOUKE 18

The low frame entry and the low standover height make it easy for young riders to get on and off safely at traffic lights and crossings. This means that the feet quickly land on the ground again, which is a helpful factor especially for inexperienced riders.

With all YOUKE models PUKY uses a standard and child-friendly V-brake on the front wheel. These ensure a good braking effect and guarantee an optimal dosage of the braking power, so that the rider comes to a safe stop. In contrast to conventional V-brakes, falls caused by too strong, abrupt braking power are avoided. Furthermore the YOUKE models are equipped with a coaster brake.

In order to ensure good ergonomics and the longest possible service life, the handlebars and seat post of YOUKE children's bikes are continuously adjustable in height. This way the bike continuously adapts to the size growth of the little riders.

The extremely impact-resistant and hard-wearing powder coating is applied by PUKY in their own factory on all their vehicles. It covers the metal components like a plastic coating and is UV and weather resistant and of course free of toxins and harmful substances.

The PUKY safety set ensures safety on the vehicle and during the ride. It consists of a handlebar pad, a bell, safety handlebar grips, front and rear reflectors, mudguards, non-slip pedals with reflector as well as a closed chain case.
