Air-Liner – Extreme Protection for the Roughest Tracks

So that mountain bikers can tackle even the most demanding trails and terrains with confidence, VIttoria is expanding its portfolio of tire inserts with the Air-Liner Protect models, which are available in specified versions for Enduro and Downhill use. Both versions share their origin on the toughest courses of UCI Mountain Bike World Series, where they were successfully developed and tested.

Their function: to provide the best possible protection for tires and wheels against the most extreme impacts. The inserts, made of high-density polymer foam, form a robust barrier between the rim and tire – for unparalleled protection against punctures, sidewall cuts and crushing. While the Enduro version with a slightly lower foam density offers reliable impact protection, the Downhill model with its higher density protects the wheels even during the fastest rim impacts.

Features of the Air-Liner Protect Enduro anti-puncture insert:

• lower density than the Downhill model – ideal for Enduro racing applications
• optimum shock absorption and improved handling
• long service life thanks to manufacture from high-density polymer foam
• easy handling thanks to construction as a complete, closed loop (no cutting necessary)
• suitable for tire widths from 2.4 to 2.6 inches

Properties of the Air-Liner Protect tire inserts:

• impact protection: protects the rim from heavy impacts, reduces the risk of Snakebites, "T" shape as a barrier between the rim edges and the inside of the tire
• high speed: no impairment of the tire's rolling characteristics, insert forms a rim seal under air pressure to protect against heavy impacts
• lateral stability: support of the tire sidewalls under load for cornering at full speed, increased protection of the tire sidewalls against cuts and punctures
• large air volume: "T" shape as the basis for a larger air volume in the tire, possibility to reduce air pressure for additional grip without the risk of complete air loss or damage to the rim

Installation instructions: The insert may only be used in conjunction with Tubeless systems and multiway Tubeless valves. The material is compatible with any type of liquid sealant. Use with a tube is not possible.
