This professional road bike was developed for performance-oriented road cyclists - from Grand Tour pros like Simon Yates to ambitious riders who want to reach the next level. The TCR flagship combines its legendary riding characteristics with new system integrations and construction methods to make it more efficient than ever. The down tube has been significantly redesigned to improve aerodynamics, and the new integrated cockpit with the OverDrive Aero steerer tube and Contact SLR AeroLight stem features internal cable routing to further reduce drag. From the integrated seatpost to the CADEX wheel system with 40 mm deep carbon rims, every component has been selected and tested for system optimization.

System-optimized - The frame, wheels, cockpit and other parts have been designed, developed and tested to work optimally as a system. The all-new OverDrive Aero steerer technology is combined with a Contact SLR AeroLight stem and Contact SLR handlebar to provide internal cable routing that also integrates the top cap, cables and spacers into an aerodynamic, user-friendly setup.

Superior efficiency - Thanks to a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the previous generation, the new shape of the aero tubes and a lower overall weight, this uncompromising road bike offers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedaling stiffness. The result is race-winning performance in the decisive moments.

Holistic aerodynamics - All tube shapes have been developed and designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and wind tunnel testing. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to the new cockpit design and component integration, it all adds up to a slimmer profile that gives the frameset an aero advantage of 2.28 watts over the previous generation.

• Advanced SL Carbon - Professionally manufactured carbon woven using the latest technical and construction methods. Continuous Fiber technology increases strength and minimizes weight.
• One-piece Mold - The new construction technique uses a single air chamber to create a one-piece front triangle. The result is reduced weight without sacrificing stiffness or aerodynamic shaping.
• Elliptical tubes - Strategically designed profile sections in the frame and fork, developed using CFD and wind tunnel testing, improve aerodynamic efficiency and reduce drag.
• Frame/handlebar/stem have unique cable routing for a sleek, uncluttered appearance.
• The Advanced SL carbon fork features a symmetrical design and aerodynamic shaping, as well as the integration of disc brakes and increased tire clearance for tires up to 33 mm.
• The lightweight handlebars and stem are aerodynamically shaped and have a flat handlebar head with raised edges to ensure a stable aero position.
• Overdrive Aero - The D-shaped steerer tube and the associated spacers ensure an extremely aerodynamic, easy-to-use system of internally routed brake and shift cables.
• The integrated seat post reduces weight, improves aero performance and ensures smoother running.
• MegaDrive - A generously dimensioned down tube and top tube ensure outstanding lateral and torsional stiffness of the front wheel. The precisely designed, rectangular shaped down tube ensures unprecedented steering precision and pedaling performance.
• The "oversized" bottom bracket area has a fully integrated 86 mm wide profile. Symmetrical chainstays provide additional stiffness on the drive side and stability on the non-drive side.
