Smooth and simple maintenance is ensured by the tried and tested One Way Bleeding system and the Easy Hose Joint System, which makes brake hose replacement considerably easier.

Shimano BL-UR405 brake lever

The defining feature of the BL-UR405 brake lever, which is matched to the components of the CUES series, is its Short Reach design, which makes it easier, more comfortable and more intuitive to use, particularly for riders with small hands or short fingers. This is thanks to optimized ergonomics with a lever blade whose starting position is 20 % closer to the handlebars compared to conventional models. Cyclists experience a whole new level of control and comfort, especially in combination with the SL-U6050 shift levers (available separately), which also follow the "S-Reach" concept.

Shimano BR-MT410 brake caliper

The hydraulic BR-MT410 disc brake caliper from Shimano combines a lightweight 2-piston design with a long service life and high ease of maintenance. When it comes to deceleration, the Postmount brake caliper not only impresses with its first-class response behavior, but also with the equally fast resetting ability of the pistons. The result are reliable braking performance and excellent modulation.

J-Kit (Easy Hose Joint System) | For brake systems with J-Kit brake hose connection, the brake lever has an integrated squeeze seal (olive), which makes the installation and removal of the brake line much easier overall.
