Shimano XTR FC-M9020-1 Crankset Enduro / Trail 1x11-speed

Since the introduction of the high-end XTR groupset, mountain biking has evolved dramatically. SHIMANO has carefully analyzed the direction of this evolution and identified four fundamental categories within the mountain bike sector. In the competition-oriented cross-country segment, the focus is particularly on physical performance and fitness requirements, while in the enduro segment, technical challenges take center stage. However, both sectors also have their own recreational sub-segments focused on riding enjoyment, which encompass trail riding that is either more endurance-oriented or more technically demanding. With the newly introduced XTR M9000 series, SHIMANO offers the perfect solution in all these categories for every mountain biker who won’t settle for anything less than the best.

FC-M9020-1 crankset for 1x11-speed

The 1x11-speed drivetrain is the top choice for all competition-oriented cross-country or enduro racers who know exactly what they’re capable of and the terrain or race course they’ll be tackling.

The FC-M9020 is a trail-specific crankset featuring an extremely durable, cold-forged construction and a standard Q-factor of 168 mm. This crankset does not include chainrings. However, any conceivable 1-, 2-, or 3-speed setup can be achieved by fitting it with the appropriate chainrings.

The optionally available XTR single-chainring sets feature so-called retention technology, which effectively prevents the chain from coming off even without the use of chain guides.
