Vulpine is the latest racing-oriented model in WTB’s popular gravel tire line. Closely spaced center knobs form a nearly continuous centerline to reduce rolling resistance, while the rest of the tread features short knobs to further enhance efficiency, minimize the risk of punctures, and ensure predictable traction in corners.
Features of the WTB Vulpine folding tire
- Dual DNA Compound rubber compound
- Tubeless Ready Casing (TCS / tubeless-compatible system)
- SG Puncture Protection All-Surface Protection
Tubeless Compatible System | TCS is WTB’s comprehensive tubeless ready system, which complies with international ISO/ETRTO standards. In version 2.0, the technology offers greater durability and easier installation.
Dual DNA Compound | The more rubber layers in the tread, the greater the influence on handling. Dual-DNA technology uses two rubber compounds to combine a more efficient center strip with softer side knobs.
Fast Rolling Compound | Speed and efficiency are the hallmarks of WTB tires featuring Fast Rolling technology. A fast-rolling center section is complemented by a softer rubber compound in the sidewall areas without compromising performance.
Light Casing | WTB tires featuring TCS Light technology have a single-ply carcass, which is a particularity among XC and trail bikers due to its low weight. They are also suitable as front tires in a dual-tire setup paired with a TCS Tough tire on the rear wheel.
SG Puncture Protection | WTB tires with SG technology are distinguished at the material level by a special compound developed for excellent puncture protection. An additional sidewall layer protects the areas subject to the most stress and improves airtightness in high-pressure tires.
