Racing in the Alps in July is not for the masses, but the products that come out of these experiences are great for all of us. Castelli designed this jersey for warm days in the mountains based on feedback from the pros. They wanted a jersey that would keep them cool on warm days without sacrificing aerodynamics.
The Climber's 4.0 Jersey uses the same CFD-based seam design as the Aero Race 8S Jersey, but Castelli used the most aerodynamic 3D mesh material they could find for optimal cooling. The material is soft and stretchy, which also gives the jersey a comfortable fit you'll need for your days in the mountains. And since the jersey is made for sunny days, they've also made sure that the material on the back blocks 90% of UV radiation.
