Even in summer, a rain jacket is a must for every mountain tour. It not only protects you from sudden thunderstorms or rain showers, but also from the fresh wind at the summit and from cooling down during breaks. The Simony V 2.5-layer rain jacket for women withstands a water column of at least 20,000 millimetres (JIS L 1092 B) and is extremely breathable. Thanks to its construction - the outer fabric and membrane are firmly bonded together and a print (half layer) protects the membrane instead of an additional lining - the Simony V is extremely lightweight and packs down small.

In addition to the waterproof membrane, the outer fabric of the Simony 2.5-layer rain jacket for women has a PFC-free Eco Finish water and dirt repellent finish. The pre-shaped sleeves ensure maximum freedom of movement; the hood, cuffs and waistband can be closed tightly to protect against the wind. The underarm ventilation ensures that the jacket does not have to be constantly taken off and put on, even with changing exertion.

Last but not least, two zippered pockets offer enough space for a hat, gloves, smartphone, snacks, etc. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable materials. As a member with Leader Status with the independent organization Fair Wear, VAUDE is committed to fair working conditions and fair wages.
