Being surprised by a thunderstorm in the mountains without suitable weather protection is annoying at the best of times, but can also quickly become dangerous. The Simony V 2.5-layer rain jacket for men is so packable and lightweight that it fits into any rucksack as a backup, even in good weather. This is made possible by the 2.5-layer construction: the robust outer fabric and the high-performance Ceplex Pro membrane are firmly bonded together, with no additional lining in favor of a protective print (half layer). In addition to the waterproof membrane (minimum 20,000 mm water column according to JIS L 1092 B), the outer fabric of the Simony V 2.5-layer rain jacket for men has a PFC-free Eco Finish water and dirt repellent finish.

On the body, the high breathability and ventilation zippers under the arms ensure efficient climate management, while the pre-shaped sleeves guarantee maximum freedom of movement. The waistband, cuffs and hood can be individually adjusted to protect against cold winds. Hiking map, gloves or headband fit comfortably in the two large zippered front pockets.
