To make it to the podium, however, you need a shoe that offers you everything. The new Ultra 100 was therefore developed in collaboration with the best ultra runners from the DYNAFIT athlete team. The result: a shoe that perfectly masters the balancing act between comfort, traction and excellent energy return and gets you across the finish line in the best time.

Details

Despite its maximum volume and high stack height of more than 30 mm, the Ultra 100 impresses as a lively companion with excellent grip and precision from the first to the last kilometer. The 6 mm drop corresponds to the preferences of ambitious ultra runners. For the sole, the developers rely on the Vibram® Megagrip compound, which is considered the benchmark for maximum performance in competitive sports. The Ultra 100 features the new Vibram Traction Lugs for the first time. This innovative lug concept with a lug height of 4 mm guarantees improved traction and perfect grip, so that you can run safely and precisely on any surface.

The midsole is pleasantly cushioned for a springy ride, but at the same time very light and reactive. The innovative material weighs 20 percent less than a conventional EVA midsole, but returns more than 10 percent energy. The anatomical heel construction, together with the heel preloader, ensures a firm and secure hold and gives you optimum control and stability. At the same time, the strain on the Achilles tendon is relieved.

The rocker shape of the sole guarantees a dynamic and fluid roll-off, which promises a flowing running sensation even on the last few kilometers with heavy legs. The Ultra 100 comes with classic lacing that can be optimally adjusted to your individual needs. The seamless tongue construction prevents pressure points and you can stow the laces securely in the elastic cover.
