Whether for urban adventures, mountain hikes in rugged terrain or multi-day trekking tours: the Puez 2 Mid Powertex shoe with a mid-high shaft and modern, stylish design stands for a smooth ride and a high level of comfort and has therefore been developed for a wide range of uses. The abrasion-resistant, mid-cut upper material is reinforced with a toe cap and an all-round protective rubber rand. Meanwhile, the waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane provides reliable protection in wind and weather.

Permanent wearing comfort
The special trekking profile, the two-part EVA midsole with varying degrees of stiffness and soft heel cushioning and the soft, recycled and customizable CFF footbed, together with the supplied Volume Reducer insole, ensure a high level of comfort and an individual fit.
Technical & innovative
The Puez 2 Mid Powertex trekking boot is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole, which provides ideal grip and traction on technical terrain. The special feature of the sole, however, is the new Salewa Edging Plate II: a special thermoplastic insole plate that extends over the entire length of the shoe. Thanks to the Edging Plate II, the shoe provides a high level of flexibility and cushioning for long-lasting comfort while still maintaining high rigidity and stability in the forefoot and heel area. This creates an ideal combination of flexibility and support.
The proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® laces also increases stability at the ankles and in the midfoot: the patented system connects the lacing system, sole and heel and thus guarantees a secure hold while maintaining flexibility. The Climbing Lacing system also enables precise lacing in the toe area for an even more precise fit, more support and ideal adjustment.
Sustainable production
This trekking boot for men with a mid-high shaft bears the Salewa Committed symbol and meets strict environmental and sustainability standards to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint. In addition, the recycled, customizable CFF footbed is made from recycled mesh fabric and the waterproof, breathable membrane is PFC-free.
